This service is the brainchild of a school teacher in the Bronx who wanted to connect people who want to help students, with classrooms and schools in need of supplies and other things.

How it works:

1. Public school teachers that need help with funding or materials create student project proposals at DonorsChoose.org.
2. DonorsChoose carefully screens the proposals to ensure the integrity of the request and that the request meets their eligibility requirements
3. DonorsChoose then takes care of the fulfillment process to again ensure that accountability is measured throughout the entire process.
